The Madone SL 5 Gen 8 is a lightweight, aerodynamic race bike with elite technology without being prohibitive. It offers similar aerodynamic benefits to the Madone SLR Gen 8, but with a more affordable carbon layup (OCLV 500) and a two-piece cockpit with invisible cable routing.
Designed for racing thanks to a geometry that favors speed in sprints but allows for control on fast descents.
The Shimano 105 groupset is very affordable, but still provides a clean and reliable mechanical solution.
