The G.ICE-STORM ROAD 1.0 cycling shoes are the ideal choice for facing cold seasons and winter during road rides. Their waterproof and insulating Gore-Tex® membrane ensures optimal comfort, keeping your feet warm and dry even in the harshest weather conditions.
The upper is made of highly breathable G.active airflow microfiber and includes anti-abrasion reinforcements strategically placed on the toe and sides. The elasticated and water-repellent collar features an adjustable Velcro closure to ensure maximum insulation.
Putting them on is made easier by a rear tab, while reflective inserts increase safety in low visibility conditions.
The Gore-Tex® Duratherm® membrane guarantees breathability, waterproofing, and thermal insulation even in the coldest conditions.
The closure system features the BOA Fit System Li2, which ensures a fast, simple, and precise fit, while also providing uniform pressure distribution on the foot.
The insole, positioned between the sole and the upper, is enhanced with highly insulating thermo-reflective aluminum, capable of creating a thermal barrier that keeps the foot warm and dry. Furthermore, the anatomically designed internal insole supports the tarsal area, ensuring comfort and efficiency in pedaling.
The GAERNE EPS CARBON POWER SOLE 8.0 is made of nylon enriched with carbon for increased rigidity. Its slim design promotes efficient pedaling by minimizing energy dispersion, while its arch support shape ensures additional foot stability. Internal channels and air vents on the sole ensure ideal ventilation during activity. The sole also features an anti-slip insert at the toe and an interchangeable PU heel pad at the back for safe walking. Cleat position can be adjusted by 9mm, and thanks to the integrated alignment scale, riders can easily remember their preferred cleat position.
The sole, with a stiffness index of 8, is compatible with all clipless pedals.
